1.) What is your Favorite Design tool? My imagination.
2.) Will you die for love at 3am? Yes, I will die for love at any hour of the day.
3.) Who/What/Where is currently inspiring to you? Why?
New York Nightlife, and Music are currently inspiring me. The reason is, this is where people dress up fearlessly, and where you really see how high fashion can translate over to real life. Music consistently inspires people to reflect what they are hearing in their style.
4.) What is your goal to expand your vision over the next couple years?
I see Haleh Nematzadeh as a full brand of style. Shoes, Handbags, accessories, Make Up, A traveling Party, and boutiques.
5.) Why the hell should we give up rent for your whimsical delight?
My clothing does not require anyone to give up his or her rent thankfully. But I promise that the more expensive pieces will light up the girl who wears them, and will wake them up to a fearless, authentic side of themselves they may not have known existed.
6.) Who has been the most supportive in your career?
My husband, Edite Showroom, Gabrielle Bernstein, and the rest of my dear friends.
7.) What one single word drives you insane?
“Nice” it is neither here nor there. I would much rather be called anything less neutral and boring.
8.) How will your tombstone read? MY tombstone will be a rose pink color, in pink Swarofski Crystals it will read
“HEREIN LIES HALEH NEMATZAZDEH, DEVOTED WIFE, LIGHTWORKER, AND CREATOR OF TRUE BEAUTY”
9.) Where do you go to think?
I am devoted to my meditation practice where I am able to create the reality of my dreams.
My couch would be the answer, followed by the Gym.
